Ryan apprenticed under the heavyweights of the Perth DJ scene in the early 2000s, learning his craft at hip-hop clinics in the northern suburbs — manually beatmatching on Pioneer CDJ-100s, long before sync buttons, automation, or SPOTIFY playlists existed (if you know, you know).
